MINI (Any Year) and BMW | ADS-BM1 Remote Starter | Takeover

On all MINI and BMW vehicles with electric e-brake (or in the case of MINI with manual e-brake too) that have the ADS-BM1 remote starter installed, takeover will NOT work if the e-brake is active (ON).

There is no way around this issue.
