MINI (Any Year) | If alarm triggers upon remote start see this

2014 Mini Cooper paceman. I want to save you guys some frustration and share my failure with you.

Install went fine once I figured out how to program compustar remotes to the PTS car. Worked flawless until I re assembled the car. After I re assembled the car it would set off alarm on remote start and never try to start or anything. 
This is Saturday at 530 alaska time and tech is closed. Mike A. Graciously tried to help me via PM and we got nowhere. 
I called tech Monday morning after keeping the customer car over the weekend. We re check everything, try and do a reset of the vehicle and get the same thing. 
Engineering says if a door is open it will do this. 
Doors are closed. Verified both front doors set off alarm if opened when armed. Rear hatch is closed. 
Start car, no lights on warning me doors are open. 
We decide to condemn the starter and order another one. Pull it out this morning and when I'm pulling it back in, rear hatch shows open. 
Close hatch and the starter works flawless. When I put the kick back in I pressed the trunk release button. I'll attach a picture of the hear hatch "popped" so you can see how it's easy to miss.
